Summer is here and that means we should all give our skin a little extra love! I prefer to wear less makeup during the Summer since it’s SO hot – it’s not a good feeling caking on makeup in the humidity. This is why I’ve been extra attentive with my skin lately to make sure that it says healthy and radiant throughout the Summer. My favourite thing to do is get facials every few weeks. They’re relaxing, SO good for your skin, and you’ll walk out glowing! Here are some of my favourite places in Vancouver!
1. The Skin Girls
I’ve been coming here at least once a month for a while now and I will keep up the routine. Once these babes started taking care of my skin, I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing it. My favourite is their celebrity facial because you will have a glow like no other afterwards! These babes specialize with medical facials, so they’ll really analyze your skin to see what you need. They also have other treatments that I love, like their fanny facial (and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like and it’s the best)!
2. Skoah
Skoah prides themselves in providing personal training for your skin. They have positioned themselves as a skin gym and offer different types of memberships depending on what you’re looking for. This means that you can come every month or every other month depending on what works best for you. The value is great and this way you can make sure your skin gets the love it needs routinely. My favourite is their fit skin or fascialicious facial!
3. Babor Beauty Spa
I was blown away when I tried the skin performance facial here. Babor Beauty Spa only uses the best products. The staff were very knowledgeable – I walked in with pretty dull and dry skin from all my travel, and they had me walking out glowing! If you want that high end spa atmosphere and experience with your facial, this is the place!
4. La Maison Valmont
Valmont makes AMAZING products which is why this facial is extra luxe. Not only do they use all Valmont products throughout your treatment, but also special techniques to make sure that your skin gets the love and attention it needs. All Valmont’s estheticians are trained the same way, so no matter which location you go to, you’ll receive the same luxurious treatment.
5. Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim
This is my favourite spa in Vancouver because it offer’s such a vast list of treatments and the facilities are amazing. While body treatments and massages here are my personal favourite, I know that their facials are just as great. There are a number of facials to choose from based on your skin type, and best of all you can come early or stay for a steam, lunch, or glass of wine afterwards and enjoy yourself on their outdoor terrace.
