How I Netflix & Chill

One of my favourite ways to pass time is to binge on Netflix. If you’re ever burnt out or just need a chill day, it’s super therapeutic. I kind of have a crazy routine that gets me comfortable and into my element when I Netflix & chill, and I thought I’d share it with you guys today. It involves preparing a snack buffet and open bar, as well as setting up a spa like environment… sounds pretty fancy, right? Actually no! It takes no time at all, and if you decide to invite your girl friends over to binge on Netflix with you, they’ll definitely thank you 🙂

 

Step 1. Snacks
Probably the most important thing – food. I prefer small bite sized snacks so then you can have a little bit of everything. Slice up some fruit and put it on a platter, pop some popcorn and season with salt and cayenne, and of course tortilla chips and guacamole are a must!

 

Step 2. Drinks
I prefer to Netflix with a drink in hand and I know my girls do too. Stocking up on rosé is mandatory. If you’re feeling fancy, try making my favourite rosé sangria. It’s quick and easy, just put all these ingredients into a jug and muddle:

 

Step 3. Comfy PJs
Comfy PJs kind of tie everything together for me when it comes to a Netflix & Chill night. I love sleepwear from Adore Me, they have a lot of cute options and add new styles every month so there’s something for everyone! It’s important to be comfortable and look good too with you’re doing nothing 🙂

Step 4. Face masks
I love doing a face mask when I’m watching TV because I have time to kill anyways. My favourite is Sephora’s face masks because there’s an entire line with different ingredients, depending on how you want to treat your skin that day.

 

Step 5. Light a candle
Nothing sets the mood like a candle. Light a few of your favourite candles so you feel extra special. My go to is the grapefruit candle from Jo Malone. It seriously smells like a spa, I can never get enough of it.
