It wasn’t too long ago that I was at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. I had the most amazing time! But with all the concerts and fun events going on, it left me very little time to keep up with everything while looking my best. I knew I had to pack mindfully, and looking back now there were 3 products that I couldn’t have survived without.
These 3 products were serious life savers. I used them everyday and I now consider them my holy grail travel essentials – the dry shampoo kept my hair fresh, the hydrance serum kept my skin super hydrated in the dry heat, and the tinted mineral protected my skin from the sun while giving me a flawless complexion. Best of all, you can easily pack all 3 of these products in a carry-on luggage!
1. Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (Non Aerosol)
You’ve heard me talk about this product many times and I’m mentioning it yet again because I can’t live without it! Most dry shampoos can be tricky to pack because they’re in aerosol cans, but this one is aerosol free. This makes it super easy to pack into a carry-on luggage because it’s not a liquid. It will take your hair from a 0 to 100. I actually skipped washing my hair for a few days during the festival, and with this dry shampoo no one could tell!
2. Avène Hydrance Serum
The dessert is dry, so I had to do my due diligence to make sure my skin stayed hydrated. This hydrance serum from Avène is oil free and enriched with Avène Thermal Spring Water which provides the skin with a boost of continuous hydration for 24 hours. Needless to say, using this became an important step of my skincare regimen.
3. Avène Tinted Mineral
I didn’t want to wear any heavy makeup, but still wanted to have a great complexion and be protected from the sun, without layering on too many products. This tinted mineral by Avène had SPF as well as complexion-perfection and hydrating properties of a tinted moisturizer. It blurred imperfections so I had flawless, healthy looking skin throughout the festival. This comes in 3 shades and I used the shade medium.
