1. BIKER JACKET
A biker style jacket should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. This modern faux bomber jacket from Free People is a fav of mine since it has gold details. I like to throw one on over more feminine dresses to roughen it up a bit.
2. OVER THE KNEE BOOTS
If it’s cold but you still want to look stylish, these will keep you WARM. You can wear them with so much too – a sweater dress, a skirt, shorts, even over tights or leggings! These KENDALL + KYLIE thigh high boots are everything, I love the neutral shade and they’ll pull any outfit together and make it look instantly cozier.
3. MULES
When I saw these Senso Mules I fell in love instantly! The colour is just the perfect amount of girly and I love the block heel. My favourite thing about mules are they’re easy to slip on and off, so super convenient, but at the same time you don’t have to sacrifice style either!
4. PLAID BLAZER
Everyone has one of these (probably from Zara or H&M) or multiple already. A plaid blazer has been all the rage and this one from Theory is a show stopper of a blazer in my opinion. You know someone means business when they have a nice (plaid) blazer on.
5. A GOOD TRENCH COAT
The right trench coat will stand the test of time and really last, so I highly recommend investing in these. This one by ANINE BING is on sale and has a lot of sizes left! #RunDontWalk. This trench coat is great because it isn’t too thick or thin – it’ll be a good Spring piece too!
6. SOCK BOOTIES
I need to get a pair of these ASAP, I really can’t believe I still don’t have a pair myself. Sock booties were all the rage last Fall and Winter so I couldn’t get my hands on a pair I liked. These match almost any outfit and make your legs look super long. I’m obsessed with this pair by Schutz – the heel is so on point and I adore the pointed toe!
7. DARK FLORALS
There’s something about a dark floral print that’s just so chic. When I saw this cupcakes and cashmere dress I knew I had to have it. I would feel comfortable wearing this dress from day-to-night. The print is suitable for the office, but dressy enough for drinks out too.
8. VELVET
Another no brainer – velvet is HOT this Fall. I recommend a velvet slip dress because you can wear it so many ways. This velvet slip dress by Equipment is the perfect investment piece that will last you. I see myself wearing it with a trench, blazer, duster jacket, and of course just as is with barely there nude strappy heels.
9. COZY SWEATER
You can never have too many of these, but make sure to have at least one very good quality one. I really think that Acne Studios is the creme de la creme for wool and cashmere sweaters. An Acne sweater will last and never go out of style since their silhouettes are so minimalistic.
10. STATEMENT BAG
Let’s not forget accessories! A statement bag is a must for Fall since most people typically dress more plain. A statement bag adds a little extra something to make your outfit interesting. I love this Cult Gaia bag because it works for Fall and you know you can use it again in the Summer too.
